Processing of personal data at seminars and collaboration forums

Here you can read more about how the Swedish eHealth Agency (E hälsomyndigheten) processes your personal data at seminars and collaboration forums, in accordance with the EU's data protection regulation (GDPR). You can also read about what rights you have in connection with the processing of personal data.

As part of the Swedish eHealth Agency’s mission to cooperate, your name, e-mail address, professional role and workplace are saved in a participant list and mailing list. This personal data is saved for the purpose of administering our events and may be shared within the group. The information is deleted from the participant list when it is no longer needed for the collaboration assignment. If you do not want to participate, you are welcome to contact registrator@ehalsomyndigheten.se. The Swedish eHealth Agency is the personal data controller for the processing. The legal basis for the processing is that, according to its instructions, the authority must cooperate with others and coordinate the government's investments in e-health. The processing is based on the legal basis of public interest. The employees who will receive the data need it to perform their duties.

Photography and film recording

In order to be able to inform about our activities, we photograph and film certain events. Sometimes webcasting can also occur. The Swedish eHealth Agency then processes personal data about speakers, panel participants and other participants.

The personal data collected are:

  • Name
  • Professional role
  • Photo
  • Voice

The Swedish eHealth Agency's legal basis for the processing is to be able to fulfill a task of public interest.

As a rule, personal data is only saved as long as it is needed for the expressed purposes. However, for public documents that contain personal data, the documents are preserved or thinned in accordance with the existing legal requirements.

You have the right to request information free of charge from the Swedish eHealth Agency about the use of the personal data concerning you. We will, at your request or on our own initiative, correct or delete information that is incorrect or limit the processing of such information. You have the right to object to the processing of your data.
